Tennessee RB Tiyon Evans talked about how he excited he is for the upcoming game against the Missouri Tigers during a meeting with reporters on Tuesday.

Evans has rushed for 211 yards with 2 touchdowns so far in his first season at Rocky Top.

Asked about Mizzou’s struggling run defense, Evans deflected the question before eventually saying he and the other Vol running backs are going to have some fun:

Both the Volunteers and the Tigers are coming off of losses as Tennessee got shut out in the second half against No. 11 Florida 38-14 in The Swamp. The Tigers’ last game was a 41-34  loss against Boston College in overtime.

Tennessee and Missouri’s run defenses have taken some steps back recently as both have struggled at times this season.

The Vols have now allowed 446 yards rushing through 4 games, while Missouri has allowed a whopping 1,084 yards rushing to opposing offenses.
