DeAndre Moore will be playing his college football at Texas. The St. John Bosco wide receiver announced on his Twitter account on Thursday evening that he had flipped his commitment from Louisville to instead play for Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns.

Moore, one of the country’s top wide receivers in the class of 2023, is ranked the No. 17 player in the country at his position and is considered the No. 8 player in the state of California. He originally pledged to Oklahoma in Sept. 2021 but de-committed on Jan 31. On May 31, he pledged to Louisville and ended up taking an official visit there weeks later, while also visiting Georgia and Texas in November.

When the Early Signing Period began on Wednesday, Moore didn’t sign, further fueling speculation that he would flip his commitment to the Cardinals. And on Thursday, the speculation became reality as he opted to instead sign with the Longhorns, joining the nation’s No. 3 recruiting class.
