Sarah Fuller continues to be the lone kicker listed on the Vanderbilt depth chart this week as the Commodores get set to play at Georgia on Saturday.

Interim coach Todd Fitch, the team’s offensive coordinator, explained what her role will be this week.

“None of the guys that were out last week are back,” Fitch said at a Tuesday press conference. “We’re still researching options, on the roster, we’re trying to provide the best situation for our team as we can.”

Fitch said Fuller kicked at practice on Tuesday and the coaching staff will continue to evaluate players on the roster.

“If we could add something to the competition, we will,” he said. “We want to make sure we have the best availability for our team, but right now she kicked for us today and she’s certainly out there and trying to get better and working on all the different things that Coach Fitzsimmons has her working on.”

Fitch was asked about 2019 kicker Ryley Guay possibly returning, and admitted there has been some discussion, though Guay is in medical school.

“There’s a lot of steps we’d have to go through in terms of eligibility,” Fitch said. “We’ll see how that plays out the rest of this week.”
