In what could prove to be an interesting move, former Missouri quarterback Marvin Zanders will reportedly attempt to relocate to Vanderbilt this offseason. The former Tiger signal caller originally planned to transfer to Virginia, however, those plans were changed at some point this offseason.

According to Chadd Scott of Gridiron Now, Zanders won’t be leaving the SEC, after all, as the quarterback has chosen to relocate to Nashville instead of enrolling at Virginia.

Last week, Virginia head coach Bronco Mendenhall confirmed Zanders would not be playing for the Cavaliers this season.

Zanders made eight appearances for the Tigers last season, throwing for 114 yards and one score while chipping in 198 rushing yards and another two touchdowns on the ground. After surrendering the quarterback duties to Drew Lock last season, Zanders promptly announced he would transfer from Missouri early last December.

In another strange twist to this story, considering the fact he is a graduate transfer, Zanders could take snaps for the Commodores at quarterback Nov. 18 when Missouri travels to Nashville to take on Vanderbilt.
