The Vanderbilt Commodores are trying to make some additions to their 2019 class ahead of the start of the early signing period.

On Tuesday night, they did just that, adding an experienced JUCO cornerback from Independence Community College to the group.

As you can see below, 3-star JUCO CB Dontye Carriere-Williams announced via Twitter that he’d be heading to Vanderbilt in 2019:

Per the 247Sports composite, Carriere-Williams is the No. 4 JUCO corner in the class of 2019 and the No. 11 overall JUCO player from the state of Florida.

With Carriere-Williams on board, the Commodores now have 22 players in their 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 47 in the country and No. 14 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
