Well, that didn’t take long.

Vanderbilt grabbed the early 7-0 lead against Baylor in the Texas Bowl, thanks to a 65-yard explosive play by RB Khari Blasingame.

After not doing anything on its first two plays, Vanderbilt called a screen on third and 10, and Blasingame took it to the house leaving the Bears’ defense in the dust.

The explosive TD came on a three-play, 65-yard drive.

The Commodores lead 7-0 with 11:00 minutes left in the first quarter.
