TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Despite having numerous injury problems over the past couple of weeks, the University of Alabama football team expects to have nearly everyone available for Saturday’s game against Auburn (7:45 p.m. ET, ESPN).

The most notable exceptions are the two players who Nick Saban has called questionable all week, senior tight end Brian Vogler and redshirt freshman wide receiver ArDarius Stewart, who both have strained knee ligaments.

“They’re still questionable,” the coach said Wednesday evening. “They haven’t been able to practice at this point, so they’re very questionable.”

Vogler has been Alabama’s most complete tight end this season, while Stewart started the last two games.

Most of the other injured players appeared to be doing more as the week progressed.

Junior wide receiver Amari Cooper (bruised knee) practiced with a brace Wednesday, and freshman left tackle Cam Robinson (ankle) was more involved in drills. Senior right tackle Austin Shepherd has been practicing at left tackle in case Robinson isn’t available.

Junior running back T.J. Yeldon (ankle) and senior wide receiver DeAndrew White (hamstring) practiced all week after not playing against Western Carolina last Saturday. So has defensive end A’Shawn Robinson (ankle) after taking a chop block.

Junior linebacker Denzel Devall (ankle) has remained limited during the observation period for reporters.
