After being ranked fourth in the final Associated Press poll of the 2014-15 season, the University of Alabama held the same spot in the final Amway Coaches Poll.

Both polls had the same top four of Ohio State, Oregon, TCU and Alabama, and had six Southeastern Conference teams in the final top 25.

The Crimson Tide, which finished No. 8 last year, was No. 2 in the preseason poll and No. 1 heading into the inaugural College Football Playoff.
