Despite facing eligibility issues during fall camp, defensive back Robenson Therezie, last year’s starter at star hybrid, was seen Friday afternoon during Auburn’s reverse Tiger Walk and his jersey is in the locker room.

The senior’s eligibility issue was first brought to light on August 14 by Auburn defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson. At the time, Johnson gave no indication as to why Therezie might not be eligible. Since then, the coaching staff has been tight lipped. Wednesday was the last time head coach Gus Malzahn was available to the media. When asked if Therezie would dress out for Saturday’s game, Malzahn said he “didn’t have any updated information.” When Auburn’s depth chart was released Tuesday Therezie wasn’t even listed on it, which could indicate that he won’t play at all against Arkansas. Junior Justin Garrett is listed as the starter and freshman Nick Ruffin behind Garrett.

UPDATED: Therezie has been cleared to play, according to Auburn SID Kirk Sampson.
