Kentucky looks to secure bowl eligibility at Missouri this weekend. Here’s a look inside some of the numbers:

THE GOOD

504: Quarterback Patrick Towles accounted for the majority of Kentucky’s 504 total yards, their second-largest output of the season, in Saturday’s loss to No. 1 Mississippi State. He set new career-highs with 390 yards and two touchdowns on 24-of-43 passing and 76 yards and two touchdowns on 23 rushing attempts.

200: Kentucky’s leading wide receivers combined for 200 yards in Saturday’s loss. Senior Demarco Robinson found the end zone for the first time all season in Week 9. Robinson provided Kentucky with its first touchdown, a 67-yard reception, with 6:25 remaining in the first quarter. He ended Saturday’s game with 86 yards on four receptions, along with 56 yards on four kick returns.

Ryan Timmons, Kentucky’s leading receiver, also enjoyed a stellar performance. The sophomore recorded a team-best 114 yards on five catches.

THE BAD

3.5: Missouri ranks No. 8 overall in team sacks entering Saturday’s game, averaging 3.5 per game. The Tigers have 28 combined sacks for 201 total yards. Missouri’s defense features a pair of standout defensive ends in Shane Ray and Markus Golden.

Ray enters with 8.5 sacks and 14.0 tackles for loss, leading the SEC in both categories. Golden has four sacks (tied for seventh) and 9.0 tackles for loss (tied for fourth).

27: Despite Towles’ stellar performance, Kentucky saw an otherwise disappointing output from its running game. Jojo Kemp was held to just 14 yards on three attempts, which was the most among Wildcats running backs. Braylon Heard, the only other back to finish with positive yards, recorded 13 on five attempts, averaging 2.6 per carry.
