Though his last year on the Kentucky football field was 2010, former Wildcats WR/QB Randall Cobb is completing some unfinished business in Lexington these days.

According to multiple reports, the Green Bay Packers star is on track to finish his college degree in May.

Cobb, who spoke at an on-campus event on Monday night, said he’ll be the first in his family to complete a college degree and said it will be the greatest achievement in his life.

“I’m trying to change the generations after me,” Cobb told the Herald-Leader.

He credits his work ethic for his ability to balance his goals, but that work ethic had to change when he moved on from the Wildcats to Green Bay.

“When I was here I had my day planned out for me,” Cobb said. “I knew I was going to be in class at this time, practice at this time … but once you get to the level I’m at now, it’s more that you have to build that structure for yourself.”
