Baton Rouge police have contacted La’el Collins requesting an interview concerning details involving recent murder victim Brittney Mills, who was 29 years old and eight months pregnant at the time of her passing last week, according to WAFB.

Collins, a former LSU offensive tackle and projected first-round pick Thursday, is believed to have been romantically linked to Mills at some point but is not a suspect according to police.

Collins is in Chicago for the NFL draft and all comments pertaining to the situation are being handled through his agent, Jim Boren:

Mills was shot and killed at her apartment in Baton Rouge on Friday. Her unborn baby was saved according to a report from The Advocate.
