Upon the news that the LSU trio — quarterback Anthony Jennings, defensive lineman Maquedius Bain and defensive back Dwayne Thomas — was reinstated to the team after their arrest and no charges were filed, a series of tweets apparently targeting them were sent out by former Tigers’ cornerback Rashard Robinson.

The Advocate reported that Robinson was arrested June 12 in connection with the situation. He was charged with unauthorized entry into Jennings’ apartment. The newspaper laid it out:

Records obtained by The Advocate show that Jennings filed a report with LSU Police on June 10 for items he claimed were stolen. In the report, he accused Robinson of being in his apartment.

Robinson, suspended from the team last fall and then dismissed after the season, later admitted to being in the home and was arrested on June 12. Authorities could not link Robinson to the stolen items, the report states.

LSU receiver Malachi Dupre, Jennings’ roommate, spotted Robinson in the apartment and told Jennings, the affidavit said. Robinson told police the apartment was unlocked and he entered to use the restroom, according to the affidavit.

According to TigerRag.com’s Cory Worsham, Robinson’s series of tweets had apparently targeted the three players who had their charges dropped. The tweets were deleted, but here’s the text of them:

Robinson then claimed his account had been hacked and that he was getting a new handle.
