Les Miles hasn’t been hired at a new school, but he’s already working to assemble a staff.

According to a report from ESPN, the former LSU coach is reviewing candidates for future offensive and defensive coordinators. ESPN reported Miles has been contacted about coaching next season, though he declined to discuss specific jobs.

“I’m looking for a place dedicated to the players’ achievement in the classroom and that wants to win championships,” Miles told ESPN. “If there’s an athletic director and president that wants to do that, I’m in line.

“I’m excited to get another opportunity to take a team to the field and fight for victory. Right now that is my focus.”

Look no further than Miles’ most recent hire to see he has a knack for finding coordinators. Dave Aranda has made the most of the Tigers’ top-level talent, producing a defense that ranks fifth nationally in scoring defense at just 15 points per game.

Miles has used his newfound free time to watch football, and he’ll be glued to the TV when his former team takes on Alabama on Saturday night.

“I will watch every snap,” Miles said. “I like the Tigers.”
