Ole Miss’s carousel at wide receivers coach may have finally come to an end.
After Grant Heard, who served as the Rebels’ receivers coach this season, left for the same position at Indiana, Hugh Freeze hired Matt Lubick, who was the co-offensive coordinator at Oregon in 2016.
However, Lubick left to be Baylor’s play-caller after only 11 days with the Rebels, sending Freeze on the hunt again.
The search may finally be over, though, as reports have linked former Cal receivers coach (and Mississippi native) Jacob Peeler to the position:

Peeler started at Cal in 2013 and served four years with the program. He also has a stop at Louisiana Tech on his resume.
