SEC team stats: Week 6

Following Week 6’s outcomes, it’s safe to say the Ole Miss Rebels have the league’s best defense. The first-team defense has given up just one offensive touchdown the entire season, and the secondary has picked off 10 passes.

Similarly, Mississippi State’s offense is averaging over 42 points per game, and the Bulldogs are averaging over 541 total yards of offense per game, third in the SEC.

It seems the Magnolia State teams are headed for an enviable showdown in the Egg Bowl.
