Penn State athlete Joey Julius is one of the most fascinating players in all of college football.

At 5-foot-10, 258 pounds, the portly place-kicker is a sight to behold. Not only is he an accurate and reliable option in the kicking game, but Julius is also a head-hunter when it comes making huge hits on special teams (as evidenced here).

On Saturday against Minnesota, he got a taste of his own medicine.

Julius was absolutely rocked by Minnesota linebacker Jaylen Waters. The Gophers’ defender was flagged for the hit — and was thus ejected.

After being on the receiving end of one of these hits, the big Penn State kicker may want to rethink his plan of ‘laying the boom’ on unsuspected coverage players.
