According to Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin, projected starting MLB Josh Walker is suspended indefinitely, and has returned home. It’s unknown as to whether he’ll return to the team.

Walker’s decision comes on the heels of an arrest this past Friday. The sophomore ‘backer was arrested on a charge of causing bodily injury to a family member, and interfering with emergency requested for assistance.

It’s a massive blow for the Aggies and their relatively thin linebacker corps. A former Army All-American, Walker logged four stats last year as a sophomore, and accrued 27 tackles.
