Tennessee tight end commit Austin Pope is suspended for one high school game, according to his head coach.

Pope, a three-star prospect, attends the Christian Academy of Knoxville, and he’s been suspended for one game due to an “internal team issue.”

“He is suspended,” Bradley told KnoxNews. “It’s an internal team issue. After this week, he’ll be good to go. He was suspended on Monday.”

Pope committed to Tennessee in June and has recorded two touchdown passes on the season. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound prospect is rated as a three-star recruit, the No. 23 best prospect in the state and the No. 43 overall tight end, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
