You never hear coaches talk about high school prospects, because it’s an NCAA violation, but thanks to the recent new rule of players signing financial aid agreements, that can now happen.

Georgia five-star quarterback commit Jacob Eason signed his financial aid agreement last month, and Mark Richt talked about his prized recruit for the first time Wednesday.

Richt thinks he’s “pretty good.” He’s very good. In fact, Eason may be the best quarterback prospect in the country, and he’s currently rated as the country’s No. 7 overall prospect and the No. 2 pro-style quarterback, behind Ole Miss commit Shea Patterson.
