Steve Spurrier zings UGA, UVA in same sentence
No matter the circumstances, Steve Spurrier is always good to throw a zinger at Georgia.
Coming off the Gamecocks’ 52-20 loss to UGA Saturday, you would think Spurrier would have a muzzle on. However, during his radio show Thursday night, Spurrier threw a playful jab at Georgia and Virginia in the same sentence.
Spurrier asked about signing highly rated QBs "Gosh, Georgia's quarterback is a kid that transferred in from Virginia."

Granted, he may also be trolling his own team, begging someone, anyone, to step up at the position.
UGA’s Greyson Lambert finished 24-of-25 for 330 yards and three touchdowns. He threw an incompletion on his fifth passing attempt, but he then reeled off 20 consecutive completions, breaking a school record held by Mike Bobo (19).
Of course, it wasn’t ideal to throw shade at a team and quarterback that just beat the doors off his team, but it’s nice to see Spurrier have a sense of humor during this rough stretch of his coaching career.
The 1-2 Gamecocks resume play against 0-3 UCF Saturday.
