Kurt Roper was Will Muschamp’s last offensive coordinator at Florida. Now he reportedly could be Muschamp’s first offensive coordinator at South Carolina.

According to 247Sports, Roper is expected to be named offensive coordinator at South Carolina as part of Muschamp’s new staff.

Roper is currently an offensive assistant with the Cleveland Browns.

Roper was Florida’s offensive coordinator in 2014, Muschamp’s final year in Gainesville. Before that he spent six years at Duke as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. He was also an assistant coach at Tennessee (2006-07), Kentucky (2005) and Ole Miss (1999-2004). He worked under David Cutcliffe when Cutcliffe was the head coach at Ole Miss and Duke and the offensive coordinator at Tennessee.

Muschamp was hired as South Carolina’s new coach on Sunday. He will likely add more new assistants in the next few days.
