Five-star quarterback Jacob Eason isn’t the only recruit Georgia is struggling to hold on to.

On Monday, four-star running back Devwah Whaley from Beaumont, Texas de-committed from the Bulldogs.

Whaley is the No. 4 running back in the country, according to 247Sports. He rushed for 1,530 yards and 21 touchdowns this year.

The 6-foot, 205-pound running back committed to the Bulldogs on Thanksgiving Day. But three days later, Georgia fired head coach Mark Richt, which has left many of the team’s recruits reconsidering whether or not they want to play for the Bulldogs.

Whaley has not revealed why he decided to de-commit, or what schools he is now considering.
