After all these years of blaming LSU fans, is it really Crimson Tide fans that smell of freshly cooked corn dogs?

If you are to believe the statistics provided by DirecTV, that may be true.

The television provider has used the Instagram hashtag “#Gameday” to track the foods mentioned, and they have developed a handy map for the most frequently mentioned food by state:

So, to recap, here’s how the SEC shakes out:

Florida: vegan
Georgia: hash browns
South Carolina: cheeses
Alabama: corn dogs
Mississippi: eggs benedict
Louisiana: jambalaya
Texas: tacos
Tennessee: fries
Arkansas: pancakes
Missouri: pizza
Kentucky: hot dog

Here’s a conspiracy theory: Alabama and Auburn fans are so infatuated with teasing LSU fans about corn dogs that they inadvertently tagged their state as the corn dog capital of America.

And how many of you guys would’ve lost a bet saying that more than one of the SEC’s 11 states would have pizza as its most popular mention?
