Move over Lee Corso, there may soon be a new coach in town.

According to ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit, Nick Saban could be on his way to ESPN’s College GameDay when his days at Alabama are done.

During an interview on The Dan Patrick Show on Monday, the former Ohio State QB said that he believes Saban is not going to entertain the idea of an NFL job regardless of the outcome of tonight’s game:

At 64-years-old, it does make sense to believe that Alabama really could be Saban’s final coaching stop.

He seems content in Tuscaloosa and he’s built a dynasty playing in the best conference in front of one of the most passionate fan bases.

The idea of Saban’s next career move being to the popular Saturday morning pregame show is an interesting one.

Anyone that has listened to Saban give an interview knows he’s thoughtful in his responses and has a deep knowledge of the game.

He can also flash a fun personality at times, though those glimpses are few and far between.
