A new era of Texas A&M quarterbacking has officially begun.

After a start to the offseason that was dominated by discussion of the transfers of former Aggies QBs Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray, there is some positive news to report at the position with the official arrival of former Oklahoma QB Trevor Knight.

Kevin Sumlin welcomed Knight, and three other midyear enrollees, with a graphic that he Tweeted:

Knight has one year of eligibility remaining, and he is expected to battle Jake Hubenak for playing time.

He spent time as a starter at Oklahoma before ultimately losing his job to Baker Mayfield.
