Former Florida quarterback Will Grier is apparently thinking of writing his next chapter in Big 12 country.

According to Mike Casazza of the Charleston Gazette-Mail, Grier is in Morgantown on Wednesday. Grier decided to transfer from Florida back in December as he continues to serve his NCAA suspension after testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance.

The NCAA suspended Grier for a calendar year, so Grier would serve out the rest of his suspension during the year that he’d have to sit out anyways due to the transfer rule, meaning he’d be eligible right away in 2017.

Grier, who was suspended last Oct. 12, could still play this coming season if he opts to play at an FCS school or junior college once his suspension is lifted.

The Gators were 6-0 with Grier as the starting quarterback before finishing 4-4 after the ruling.
