Georgia became the second SEC East powerhouse to cast a wide net at a boarding school in Florida that’s done a good job of feeding college football’s elite programs.

According to DawgNation’s Jeff Sentell, the Bulldogs offered 18 players at IMG Academy through a text message. Tennessee did something similar back in late February.

IMG Academy coach Kevin Wright got a list on Tuesday morning that showed 18 players on his football team now have offers from Georgia, according to Sentell. Ohio State and Buffalo have also offered several IMG players at once.

However, Wright told Sentell that these offers came after thorough evaluation from UGA’s staff. One of Georgia’s gems in its 2016 class, signee Isaac Nauta, was out of IMG Academy and was rated as the top TE in the cycle.
