Stop me if you’ve read this before: An Arkansas player has a foot injury that required surgery.

According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, fifth-year senior WR Keon Hatcher recently had surgery on his injured foot.

The report stems from a picture that Hatcher reportedly posted to his snap chat, which included his foot in a boot with a message indicating surgery had taken place. Multiple sources later confirmed to WholeHogSports that surgery did indeed happen.

The injury is reportedly on the same foot that was broken during the 2015 season, limiting Hatcher to just two games played.

The severity of the new injury and a timetable for his return is not yet known.

Hatcher has 86 career receptions for 1,123 yards and 11 touchdowns, and is expected to be one of the Razorbacks’ top receiving options this fall.
