More details on Texas A&M LB Josh Walker's arrest
Earlier this morning it was reported that Texas A&M linebacker Josh Walker had been arrested Friday night on charges of assault causing bodily injury to a family member, and interfering with emergency requested for assistance.
Initial reports did not include which family member was involved. However, now the Houston Chronicle’s Brent Zwerneman says the alleged assault involved Walker and his girlfriend.

Walker, a junior, was booked into the Brazos County Detention Center at 10:10 p.m., according to the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office. Bond was set for $9,000 ($5,000 for the bodily injury to a family member charge and $4,000 for the emergency request for assistance charge).
Walker played in 10 games as a freshman in 2014, including four starts, recording 27 total tackles. He appeared in 11 games last season, including a start in the season opener against Arizona State. He finished with 45 tackles.
The Aggies open the season at home against UCLA on Sept. 3.
