The Steve Spurrier retirement tour has taken yet another stop…this time in Norman, Oklahoma.

‘The Ol’ Ball Coach’ is in attendance for the massive non-conference tilt between Oklahoma and Ohio State.

Interestingly enough, Spurrier has ties to both the OU and OSU programs. For one, Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops was his defensive coordinator for three seasons in Gainesville. It was here where Stoops established himself as a rising star within the coaching profession. He then left Florida for his current job in Norman.

On the other side of the field, Ohio State head man Urban Meyer followed Spurrier as the next great head coach in ‘The Swamp.’ The two were also seen before the contest meeting with each other.

With Spurrier’s pedigree, it’s not a shock to see both current head coaches picking the brain of the iconic college football figure.
