Here's what Gus Malzahn said after Auburn's win over Vanderbilt
Auburn defeated Vanderbilt, 23-16, in Week 10.
Despite being favored heavily prior to the game, the Tigers were challenged by the Commodores throughout Saturday’s matchup. Vanderbilt blocked a field goal on Auburn’s second-to-last offensive drive before failing to convert on its own final possession.
Running back Kamryn Pettway led the Tigers with 173 rushing yards on 25 carries before experiencing an injury with 3:27 remaining. He would not return for the remainder of the game.
Quarterback Sean White, who was expected to miss Saturday’s game due to a shoulder injury, finished with 106 yards and a touchdown on 10 of 13 passing after entering in the second half.
