Chaos, finally: Clemson goes down
What was that, Kirk Herbstreit?
Herbstreit said Clemson — not Alabama — was the team to beat in college football; however, that thought will surely change.
Pittsburgh took down the No. 2 Clemson Tigers 43-42, and the College Football Playoff rankings will receive a shakeup next Tuesday.
Can Clemson still make the playoff? Probably, but going down to an unranked team at home is a bad loss. No other way to put it, and I’m not sure how much this helps Louisville either.
Twitter went wild following the upset:
Pitt ends Clemson’s 46-game winning streak vs. unranked teams. It was 2nd longest current streak behind Alabama’s 64

Stop this now … LOUISVILLE LOST TO CLEMSON. It's not going to leapfrog a 12-1 ACC champion Clemson

Clemson won't get penalized too bad for this loss in the eyes of the committee. Kinda got cheated and that allowed Pitt extra opportunities
