Five days after ending the season on a high note, Missouri picked up another win.

Three-star defensive back Terry Petry, who was formerly committed to Houston, tweeted Wednesday that he had withdrawn that pledge in favor of the Tigers.

247Sports’ composite rating pegs Petry as the No. 57 defensive back in the class of 2017 and the 75th-best player from talent-rich Texas. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound cornerback plays  at Ridge Point High School in Missouri City, Texas.

Petry had been committed to the Cougars for more than a year, but Missouri swooped in with an offer last July and brought him in for a September visit. The Tigers’ push was enough to lure him away from his local college.
