Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate: Nick Fairley smacks Matt Stafford

Former Georgia QB Matt Stafford and the Detroit Lions are taking on the New Orleans Saints and former Auburn DT Nick Fairley Sunday.
And the former Auburn star hit the former UGA star in the facemask for no apparent reason.

Was it a dirty play? It certainly wasn’t too “dirty.” But Fairley sure wanted to smack Stafford in the face, because it was obvious.
Georgia fans will remember the hit that Fairley put on former QB Aaron Murray, and at the time, it caused a big stir among the players and fans.
The Lions lead the Saints 13-3 late in the second quarter.
