Former LSU CB Morris Claiborne is expected to sign with the New York Jets, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Claiborne, the former No. 6 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, has played for the Dallas Cowboys the last five years, and he’s struggled to live up to his pre-draft hype, mostly because he’s been hampered by injuries. And Claiborne has seen a rather small free agent market this offseason because of it, too. The Ravens were the other team that showed interest in Claiborne.

Following the 2015 season, Dallas resigned Claiborne to a one-year, $3 million deal in which he played much better. He started 43 games during his Dallas career, and he’s recorded 151 tackles, four INTs and 27 passes defended.
