On Sunday, Georgia and Kirby Smart received some huge recruiting news.

Five-star 2019 wide receiver Dominick Blaylock committed to the Bulldogs over offers from Alabama, Auburn and Clemson, among others. Blaylock is rated as the nation’s No. 21 overall prospect, the nation’s No. 2 wide receiver and the state of Georgia’s No. 4 player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The Marietta, Georgia, native is listed at 6-foot, 175 pounds, and he’s a burner. He’s the son of former NBA All-Star Mookie Blaylock.

In an exclusive interview with 247Sports, Blaylock explained why he committed to the Bulldogs.

“I have made my decision this morning, and my decision is I have committed to Georgia,” Blaylock said. “I knew in the beginning I was going to go to Georgia. I just love it down there.”

On Saturday, elite linebacker J.D. Bertrand committed to Georgia, and he’s Blaylock’s good friend.

The talented pass-catcher became the Bulldogs’ sixth commitment for the class of 2019, and Georgia is off to a monster start to next year’s recruiting class.
