The Gators got a pass catching weapon on Thursday, as Kyle Pitts, a 6-foot-6, 235-pound TE made his Gators commitment official on Thursday.

Pitts, a four-star prospect according to 247Sports Composite, is the No. 11 TE and the No. 252 overall player in the 2018 class.

He announced on Thursday via this nifty video from Bleacher Report on his Twitter feed.

On the field, Pitts is as long and versatile as they come – using his strength, speed, athleticism, and aforementioned 6-foot-6 height to his advantage.

He plays TE/WR on offense and DE on defense, showing that he has the physicality to hang with the toughest conference in football. Though he is a bit wiry, and he could stand to gain some weight at 235 lbs., he has the frame to carry more, and the speed to ensure that he won’t be lumbering around when he reaches SEC size.
