Kendal Vickers has changed and learned a lot at Tennessee, and he is ready to be a leader for the Volunteers defense.

Vickers originally came to Knoxville as a defensive end, but he has transitioned to defensive tackle for the Vols.

He has appeared in 22 career games with 64 total tackles, 7.5 TFL, and 3 sacks. Vickers had six tackles in the Vols season opening 42-41 win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, although he left that game due to injury. His injury may not be bad, though, as he was later seen celebrating the win on the field after the game
