Georgia has seated itself firmly at the big-boy table after seven weeks of the 2017 college football season.

The Bulldogs were ranked No. 3 in the nation in the latest AP Poll, and have beaten their first four SEC opponents by at least 25 points apiece. They are clearly a legitimate contender to make a run at the College Football Playoff.

It has certainly been an impressive run up to this point, but how long will UGA be able to remain undefeated?

Upsets happen every week, no matter how good the teams at the top appear to be. Just ask any of the most recent victims — Clemson, Auburn, Washington and Washington State — which fell in Week 7.

ESPN’s updated Football Power Index projected the remainder of Georgia’s games after Week 7. It has the ‘Dawgs finishing 11-1 with a loss at Auburn in Week 11. The FPI doesn’t expect any other team to challenge Georgia.

Here are the Bulldogs’ projected win percentages via the FPI:

  • vs. Florida — 82.2 percent
  • vs. South Carolina — 87.0 percent
  • at Auburn — 47.9 percent
  • vs. Kentucky — 92.8 percent
  • at Georgia Tech — 72.8 percent
