Former LSU head coach Les Miles offered a pick for the 19th-ranked Tigers’ game at No. 2 Alabama on Saturday.

Miles made the pick on his weekly “Les Is More” podcast hosted by The Players’ Tribune.

The Crimson Tide is a 21-point favorite in Tuscaloosa.

“You can’t do that (in this series),” Miles said of the massive point spread. “They’re favored by three touchdowns … It makes no difference. LSU really started slowly, but by the time they got to Florida, they were playing physical football … I think, coming off a bye week, LSU is playing its best football.”

Miles said he believes the bye week allows LSU to have its best chance to win the game.

“It’s hard for me to pick against LSU. I’m going to wait and savor the moment,” Miles said initially during the podcast’s picks segment.

After two other predictions on the podcast — one being from his daughter, who picked Alabama to win by four points — Miles said he would make his pick.

“This is painful. Understand, we love LSU,” he said, hesitantly.

He then joked about saving his pick for the CBS studios on Saturday, but finally gave in:

“As much as I hate to admit it, if I had to bet the house, I’d have to bet on Alabama,” Miles said.

LSU and Alabama kick off in primetime at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
