The Tennessee Volunteers have opened as underdogs for the game against Missouri next weekend, and a loss would put Tennessee in dismal territory.

The Vols did pick up their fourth win of the season Saturday against Southern Miss, but they are still searching for their first SEC win. Tennessee is 0-5 in SEC play with games against Missouri, LSU, and Vanderbilt remaining.

The Volunteers are in serious danger of going winless in SEC play this year, but that alone does not tell the full story of their recent futility in the SEC. It was shared by Jesse Simonton on Twitter that a loss to Mizzou would give Tennessee a losing streak against every single SEC school:

David Paschall replied to the tweet with the details on every streak for the Vols:

It is an unbelievable run and helps illustrate how bad things have become in Knoxville. The last SEC win for the Volunteers came on Nov. 19, 2016 when they took down Missouri by a score of 63-37.

Saturday’s kickoff is set for 7:30 pm EST on the SEC Network.
