LOOK: Bowl game scouting South Carolina for Wofford game

Representatives from the Belk Bowl were in Columbia, S.C. on Saturday scouting South Carolina against Wofford.
The annual ACC-SEC matchup is on Dec. 29 and hosted by the Charlotte Sports Foundation. Given the proximity to the Palmetto State, Belk Bowl representatives will no doubt like the possibility of selling hotel rooms and supporting other local sponsors.
The game is played at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. Belk has been the title sponsor of the Belk Bowl since 2011.
In last year’s game, Virginia Tech beat Arkansas, 35-24.
The Gamecocks are in the running for several options from a bowl perspective. In the most recent Saturday Down South bowl projections, they were ticketed for the TaxSlayer Bowl.
