Auburn names 6-person advisory committee to help in search for new AD

After former Auburn AD Jay Jacobs announced his resignation earlier this month, the university immediately began searching for a new athletic director.
Now, as the search goes on, a six-person advisory committee has been named to assist in the search, headlined by PGA golf star Jason Dufner.
Joining Dufner on the committee are other notable Auburn names like Kim Evans, Gaines Lanier, Adrienne Lee, Beverly Marshall and Quentin Riggins:

It will be interesting to see who takes over for Jacobs, as that person will have a mess to fix. Currently, Auburn is caught up in the Adidas basketball scandal and also faces major problems in a couple of other sports.
Then there’s the football team, where the new AD has to make a decision on coach Gus Malzahn’s future, assuming he doesn’t preemptively head to Arkansas, as he is rumored to be considering.
