Rivalry Week can be dirty.

There’s no other week in the college football season with more tempers flaring and more teams that hate each other pitted against one another.

Kentucky and Louisville proved that on Saturday in their annual in-state rivalry game.

Fights aren’t all that uncommon, but you hardly ever see quarterbacks in the middle of things getting their hands dirty. The fights are usually reserved for the big guys.

Don’t tell Louisville’s Lamar Jackson that.

The former Heisman Trophy winner refused to back down during the game in Lexington when a skirmish broke out on the sideline.

Louisville had a 17-7 lead over Kentucky at the end of the first quarter.
