Gus Malzahn decided on Sunday to stay at Auburn.

That was good news for most Auburn fans, but not so much for Arkansas fans.

Malzahn, who was reported to be Arkansas’ top target, has a ton of ties back to the state of Arkansas, yet he ultimately thought it best to stay put.

Now, Arkansas is reportedly planning to move fast on its next target — or targets.

At least one former Razorback player wants his alma mater to go after Florida Atlantic head coach Lane Kiffin.

Chris Gragg, who played tight end for the Hogs from 2008 to 2012 and is now with the New York Jets, posted the following tweet on Sunday:

Kiffin, who just led the Owls to a 10-3 record and a Conference USA title, has plenty of SEC experience, as well.

He was infamously the head coach at Tennessee in 2009 before spurning the Vols in the middle of the night to take the USC job. Kiffin later spent three seasons (2014-16) under Nick Saban as Alabama’s offensive coordinator.

Would Arkansas fans accept Kiffin?
