The Jacob Eason speculation will only continue to grow until he makes a final decision.

It’s been well documented how Georgia’s QB position has evolved this season, with freshman Jake Fromm taking over for Eason when he was injured. Georgia won the SEC Championship and is playing in the College Football Playoff, and Fromm is a massive part of that. The Bulldogs signed 5-star QB Justin Fields, too, during the Early Signing Period.

So, now, everyone is speculating that Eason will likely transfer. After all, no doubt he wants to play, and beating out Fromm next season likely won’t happen unless something unforeseen happens. Even then, Fields could be an option.

According to Bleacher Report’s Travis Haney, citing sources, Eason could head back West (he’s from Washington) if he chooses to transfer following the season. Haney says Washington is the “most likely destination” for Eason, according to those close to the QB. Haney also says Miami can’t be ruled out because of Mark Richt and that Washington State could be a potential destination, too. The wild card listed in the report is UCLA, with head coach Chip Kelly.

Obviously, nothing has been decided yet, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Eason move on from UGA seeking more playing time.
