Report: Key Arkansas OL Zach Rogers not returning for 2018 season
Arkansas rising senior OL Zach Rogers is not returning to the program for the 2018 season, according to HawgSports.com’s Danny West. West reports that Rogers will start his career in law enforcement and is getting married.
This is somewhat of a significant loss because Rogers became the starting center after Frank Ragnow was lost for the season, and he’d have been an anchor and a veteran for Chad Morris’ offense in 2018.
Rogers hails from Carrollton, Texas, where he signed with Arkansas as a 3-star prospect in the class of 2015. He was injured in the Hogs’ November 18 game against Mississippi State. Jake Raulerson started in his place against Missouri to end the season.
Breaking: Offensive lineman Zach Rogers will not return to the #Razorbacks this year. He has graduated, is getting married and looks forward to starting a career in law enforcement. Best of luck to a great guy from a great family. #HawgSports
