Florida AD Scott Stricklin takes shot at UCF’s national title claim during Reddit AMA

As long as UCF keeps touting its “national championship,” people are going to make fun of the Knights.

On Tuesday, Florida AD Scott Stricklin got in on the UCF bashing, calling out the Knights during a Reddit AMA session.

As you can see in the tweet below, Stricklin said Florida would not be retroactively claiming any national championships, as the Gators have 39 of their own:

Indeed, the Gators have three football national championships that everyone recognizes, so their banners hold a little more weight than the one UCF hung this year.

However, the Knights are going to keep touting their undefeated record, much to the chagrin of the actual national champions, who reside in Tuscaloosa.
