The NFL’s pre-draft interview process is known for its weird questions. Lord knows there will probably be front offices asking prospects who they’d kill in certain situations or if they’d rather be a dog or a cat.

Bo Scarbrough got a question that was that level of odd and then some.

The former Alabama running back was asked at the NFL Scouting Combine what the craziest question he had to answer from an NFL team was so far.

Leave it to the Cleveland Browns to ask him if he thought God was an Auburn fan:

What is he supposed to say? Yes, God is an Auburn fan? Of course Scarbrough wouldn’t say that.

If that response didn’t earn Scarbrough good marks with the Browns, it certainly did with the Alabama faithful.

Auburn fans will probably point out that the Tigers won the Iron Bowl, while Alabama fans would argue that winning another national championship washed away the regular-season finale loss.

Alabama was blessed with a Playoff spot that some believed it didn’t earn, while Auburn’s postseason was spent watching 2 teams it beat play for a national championship.

Perhaps Scarbrough’s answer will spark an ongoing debate about whether God roots for the Tigers.
